Here at Leatham Cottage Dog Parlour, we are passionate about providing an exceptional grooming service for your beloved pets. We are proud to work from our hygienically clean, fresh and modern Parlour on the outskirts of Stillington, close to Easingwold, York and the picturesque Howardian Hills. Our talented, enthusiastic and qualified groomer ensures that every dog receives the highest quality care and attention, leaving them looking & feeling their best and most importantly happy & confident. 'Groomed With Love' is our moto and this is fulfilled on every dog that enters the Parlour.

Grooming Options

Full Grooms

Our grooming stylist is trained in various breed-specific clips. All grooms are based on breed standard styles (unless discussed in advance); Full clip and scissor finish, De-shed and scissor tidy or full hand-strip. Full grooms include: bathing using luxurious products, blow dry, groom, ear & hygiene area cleanse, paw and pad tidy, nail trim, tear remover and finished with a bow tie and spray of cologne.

Bath and go!

Rolled in something nasty, wanting an in-between groom freshen up or introducing doggie to the salon environment, we offer luxury bath packages. Using luxurious shampoo and conditioner your dog will leave feeling soft and smelling great.

Package includes: bath, blow dry, ear clean and a light brush. Nail trim can be added as an extra.

Nail Trimming, Or,
Face, Paw & Hygiene

Maintaining your pet's comfort, health and mobility our nail trimming appointments can be booked as a 'stand alone' treatment. Sadly, Overgrown nails can cause pain and injuries so our services are a must.

Face, Paws & hygiene - Ideal for an in-between groom tidy up. This service includes a face trim & tidy, ear clean, paw fur trim, nail trim & hygiene area trim. This does not include a bath, brush or any other fur removal.

Puppy Pamper

Introducing pups to the parlour at a young age massively desensitises them to the environment. Meaning young and developing dogs are more likely to feel comfortable with handling, equipment and noises within the Parlour. Whether you decide to visit for a 'stand alone' nail trim, a 'gentle introduction session' or a full puppy pamper it all helps.

Full puppy pampers consist of: luxurious puppy bath, gentle blow dry & brushing, ear and hygiene clean, paw & pad tidy, gentle nail clipping & cologne puppy spray. All carried out kindly in a calm & loved environment.

Puppies need to have completed their full vaccination programme before attending the parlour.

We work from a safe, clean and hygienic environment, prioritising the comfort, safeguarding and welfare of your pet throughout the full grooming process.

After every treatment, the Parlour is cleaned & disinfected and deep cleaned upon closing on an evening.

Safeguarding and security is firmly at the forefront of our agenda with a gated entrance and security measures in place.

In the interest of safety and comfort for every visiting dog, they do not mix around working areas of the Parlour.

Tailored Grooming

We tailor our grooming services to suit the specific needs and personal preferences of each pet and their owner. This maybe moving away from breed standard grooms. Discussions regarding customised grooming experiences are welcomed.

Premium Products

We invest heavily in the Parlour's tools, equipment and products to ensure we provide the best service for our visiting doggies.

If it isn't good enough for our own dogs, then it isn't good enough for yours.

In addition to the Parlour, we stock premium quality 100% natural dog treats and frozen raw chicken mince. Catering for large and small dogs our treats are packed with nutrients and because they contain no nasties you can provide these treats with ease.

100% Natural Treats and Frozen Raw Mince

We are proud to stock high quality 100% natural treats, no nasties, no rawhide just wholesome goodness whereby you can feed with confidence. Every treat is crammed with nutrients that can help promote your dogs health and wellbeing.

Raw Chicken Mince

Our raw frozen chicken mince provides a nutritious and healthy meal for your dog. For working dogs, it comes in 1KG sleaves from a Defra approved and assessed manufacture. Per 100g the pack contains 18.8% protein. £2 per sleave with a minimum order of 10 sleaves.

100% Natural Treats

Natural treats are exactly what it says on the tin! 'Natural' - they contain nothing but goodness. No nasties, colours or preservatives. Each treat has a natural benefit, for example rabbit ears are a natural de-wormer. Chicken feet contain glucosamine for joint health. Stocking small to giant range treats. Also in stock, fantastic Salmon Oil which is great for joint, heart and coat health. All treats are individually priced.

Training Treats

Great for puppy training or maintaining a strong recall on the field, these treats are 100% natural and a high quality reward for dogs of any age - worth coming back for, time and time again! Priced at just £2.50 per pack.
